A pair of wedge-tailed eagles spend some time high on a peak within two kilometres of their nest, in a nearby creek. From time to time they launch from the rocky shelter at distant rabbits and kangaroos or to ward off other mature eagles. During the day they soar far and wide patrolling their territory.
